How to create a Scalapay account

Scalapay is a new financing method that allows you to buy your musical instruments and products from MusicalStore2005 and pay them in 3 convenient monthly installments and without interest.

Opening a Scalapay account is very simple and takes only 2 minutes.

We need your personal information, including your date of birth and social security number. This data is useful if identity verification is required.

You can open your account directly on the website www.scalapay.com by clicking on "Register" at the top right or directly at the cashier at the time of the first purchase.

Remember that Scalapay is an .adults only service

All payments made with Scalapay are managed by Stripe.

Stripe is a world leader in payment processing and processes millions of payments every day on sites like Amazon, Shopify and Booking.com.

Paying in installments with Scalapay is completely free.

You will only pay the cost of your order divided into 3 monthly installments.

Scalapay will inform you a few days before the expiry of each installment via SMS and email.

You can use Scalapay with all major credit and debit cards issued in Italy as long as they belong to the following circuits:

• Visa
• MasterCard
• American Express

Scalapay also accepts the main prepaid cards, including Postepay and Postepay Evolution.

On the other hand, cards from the Bancomat or Maestro circuit are not accepted. Keep in mind that it is not possible to make a purchase by paying by bank account, bank transfer, Sepa or Paypal account.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that not all cards guarantee the same purchasing power with Scalapay, regardless of the availability of the card at the time of purchase.

New customers using prepaid or debit cards may have reduced purchasing power.

Your purchasing power depends on several factors, such as:

• the store you are buying from
• the type of paper used
• if you have already purchased with Scalapay and repaid previous purchases without incurring delays.

If you are a new user and you have never purchased with Scalapay your purchasing power may be reduced, but it will increase over time: the more you buy with Scalapay without incurring payment delays, the more your purchasing power will increase thanks to a positive history. .

Remember that:

• Your purchasing power does not depend on the availability of your card.
• Scalapay does not use external sources (eg CRIF) to assess the creditworthiness of each customer.
• Please note that Scalapay is unable to provide detailed information on the purchasing power of a single user to third parties.

You will only be charged an overdue fee if one or more of the scheduled installments are not paid off correctly by the due date.

If you have not made the payment before the due date and the automatic payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment. If this does not happen, Scalapay will apply delay fees as explained below:

• Payment made by the due date: no additional costs!
• Payment made over 24 hours late: up to 6 euros in additional costs
• Payment made over 9 days late: additional 6 euros (in addition to the first commission, up to a maximum of 12 euros for each payment)

The total cost of the commissions cannot exceed 15% of the total value of the loan (second and third installments).

Scalapay is aware that some extenuating circumstances may occur that do not allow payment to be made by the due date. If you think your case falls into these categories, send an email to support@scalapay.com before the payment due date and every effort will be made to help you.
